Programs/Events
Over the last 10 years, since the passage of the most recent millage, the library has significantly expanded the number of free events and programs it offers, including five book clubs for adults, a film club, an album club, and a fiber arts club. There are also enriching events like concerts, art exhibitions, and a wide range of craft nights, ideal for tapping into your creative side while socializing with your neighbors.
For kids and teens, there are storytimes, game clubs, book clubs, craft workshops, and an incredible number of original/unique events that spark imagination and creativity and build early literacy.
Up to 15,000 Ferndale residents of all ages attended programs at the library in 2025.
