Say YES “2” The Ferndale Library
You’ll see two proposals for the Ferndale Library on the August Primary, and it’s crucial to support BOTH!
The Ferndale Library needs renewed operational funding to maintain daily services and capital asset funding to keep its physical space in top shape. These proposals include supporting its staff, ongoing programs/events, access to digital resources, and growth of its circulating collection, as well as funding for essential repairs and updates to its LEED-certified infrastructure. Supporting BOTH measures will protect the library for the citizens of Ferndale, ensuring it can continue to grow its services and keep the space functional and accessible.
Whether you’re a frequent visitor, a digital user, or simply exploring what the Ferndale Library has to offer, there’s something here for you. The library provides free access to books, technology, and reliable internet, along with programs that support learning, skill-building, and community connection for people of all ages. Even if you haven’t used library services before, they’re designed to save you money, expand opportunity, and make everyday life a little easier. We’re here to help everyone better understand the value of their library and how to sustain its ongoing availability.
It’s your library, and you have the power to support it. Any level of commitment strengthens our goal of keeping the library open, accessible, and serving the community of Ferndale. Even small contributions help keep the YES Ferndale Library Campaign moving forward.
